PT 8/5

Mentally I think this injury is tougher than it is physically. I am starting to see this with my jumping because my confidence that I once had, has faded. Slowly my confidence is coming back but it is not an easy process. I have to train my mind to trust my body like it once did. All and all I’m doing great, my strength is there and my mechanics are drastically improving every day. I’m proud of my progress but I’m not done yet. Getting back to the court is really the only thing that’s on my mind but I have to remind myself that it doesn’t just come without work. I still have so much left to learn in a short period of time to reach my goal. I am currently working on my jumping mechanics making sure I‘m using both legs to jump and not just my uninjured leg. Next week is officially 5 months post op so we will see what that brings until then I just have to take it day by day!
